Find ThePerfect Diamond

At Tower of Jewels, our unique, proprietary Real Grown Process and total quality control result in a much more natural looking diamond than any other lab created diamond available on the market today. It’s a difference even the untrained eye can see. Most lab-grown diamonds have a pink, green or blue cast. Tower of Jewels Diamonds have a natural very faint yellow cast just like the diamonds found in nature, and because Tower of Jewels Real Diamonds are relatively free of inclusions, overall clarity is superior to mined diamonds.

At Tower of Jewels, we are simply re-creating the conditions in nature that result in carbon crystallizing into diamond. Because our Real Grown Process is very similar to natural growth, there are still variations in color and clarity of grown diamonds. Not all lab grown diamonds are colorless and flawless. This means, just like in nature, no two lab created Tower of Jewels Diamonds are alike. Each is unique and one of a kind. Think of it as nature improved. Tower of Jewels Diamonds…a better diamond for a better world.

Diamonds can be grown in two ways. The first is called High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) and the second is called Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). Each process is best suited for certain sizes, shapes, and colors of diamonds. Here is a brief explanation of both processes.

High Pressure, High Temperature

HPHT diamond growth occurs within enormous pressure cookers called cubic presses, which can exert in excess of 70 metric tons. To grow a diamond in a cubic press, small diamond seeds are carefully placed into the bottom of a growth cell. A layer of additional carbon, in form of graphite, is then delicately placed on top of the diamond seeds. The growth cell is then placed into the center of the cubic press and heated to 1,500 degrees C while being subjected to 1 million psi of pressure, which is approximately 70,000 times the pressure at sea level!

At that temperature and pressure, the graphite in the growth cell is melted into a liquid and then very carefully cooled into our favorite form of carbon, a diamond crystal.

The seeds of the HPHT grown diamonds are clearly visible in the picture above.

Chemical Vapor Deposition

CVD diamond production is quite different from HPHT growth in two major ways. First, the diamonds are grown in a vacuum instead of under tremendous pressure. Secondly, CVD growth requires large, flat plates of diamond instead of small seeds.

To grow a CVD diamond, diamond plates are placed into a vacuum chamber, carefully injected a hydrocarbon gas such as methane, and use high power microwave energy to break down the atomic bonds of the hydrocarbon gas. This separates the carbon atoms from the hydrogen atoms, and the resulting free carbon ‘rains’ down on the diamond plates, vertically growing the diamond atom by atom, similar to the way snow collects on a table.

The Best Lab Grown Diamond On Earth

At Tower of Jewels, with all of this technology and our proprietary Real Grown Process, we are rapidly transforming the diamond industry. We are changing the way both consumers and retailers think about diamonds. Tower of Jewels Lab Created Diamonds are now as good, if not better, than earth mined diamonds. Tower of Jewels Diamonds look much more natural than any other lab grown diamonds, and because they are cut and polished by some the finest diamond cutters in the world, they are more beautiful than most diamonds you will ever see. This is why diamond professionals, gemologists and connoisseurs have all proclaimed that the Tower of Jewels diamond is the best Lab Grown Diamond on earth.
